Building 487 Mold Remediation, Pope AFB, NC

EThis mold remediation project involved Building 487, a hotel facility used to house Air Force personnel during assignments at Pope Air Force Base in North Carolina. A water pipe burst over the weekend and was not discovered until early the following Monday, resulting in extensive microbial growth throughout the building.

CCI Environmental Services was contracted to complete mold remediation and prepare the facility for upcoming renovations. The scope of work included removal, cleaning, and off-site storage of salvageable hotel furniture. All remediation activities were completed in accordance with the specified project schedule, and final air sampling was conducted to verify conditions before turnover.

This project supports CCI’s experience delivering mold remediation and structural drying services for federal and military facilities.
